Projects
What our models have been used for, per client and with the year. Where the work is public we link to the report or to the application itself. This is the full record we keep, so it includes assignments that have finished and models that have since been replaced.
Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL)
Our longest client relationship, and older than the agency's present name. The model that became the RuimteScanner was adopted in 1996 by sector 5 of the RIVM, which grew into the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (MNP) and merged in 2008 with the Spatial Planning Agency (RPB) to form PBL. It has been in continuous use for national policy analysis since 1997.

Joint Research Centre, European Commission
European work began with the EU-ClueScanner, built for DG Environment and the JRC to support ex-ante assessment of policies with a spatial impact: which developments are likely in the coming decades, and how would a proposed policy change European land-use patterns and the things that depend on them, such as biodiversity. That model became the predecessor of LUISA, and derivatives followed for specific questions.
